Our Story
Anna Snow joins forces with guitarist Chris Keiffer to create their own brand of ambient-folk. Whether through songs about family, the in-between places of love, or hope for loved ones in distress, the duo combines moody, evocative guitar voicings, vocals, and lyrics to transport the listener to another world. Based out of Boston, Massachusetts, Snow performs with uncommon passion and sincerity; she feels each note, and every word. Snow and Keiffer will be releasing their sophomoric full studio EP, Is This Us, produced by Rocco DeRosa, in June, 2018.
After graduating from the University of Maine, Snow moved to Albany, N.Y. where she continued to hone her skills playing the local open mic circuit and fronting the band “Noise Between Stations.” After leaving the band in 2012 to pursue a solo career, Anna began working with guitarist Curran Fahey and performing her originals in the area.
Shortly after moving to Somerville Massachusetts in spring of 2013, Snow began performing with guitarist Chris Keiffer, who adds soft, tasteful melodies over Snow’s wistful ruminations on relationships, family, and life. Snow and Keiffer have played on many stages throughout the Boston area including: Arts at the Armory and The Burren in Somerville; the Lizard Lounge, The Lily Pad and The Cantab Lounge in Cambridge; as well as Walnut St. Café in Lynn, and the 6B Lounge in Boston. They have also been featured on radio stations such a wmfo.org and wumb radio.
